What’s the deal?

Frontier Home is not a venue in the proper sense; it’s a house concert series. Concerts take place in a studio building adjacent to our house. People start trickling in around 6:30pm for most shows. I like to cook, so I put out some food, usually tacos. I always have a vegetarian option, and the tortillas are gluten-free. Feel free to bring a side like chips or a dessert and your beverage of choice.

The concert starts around 7:30pm, or when it feels like everyone is there. The space is such that if you come late, or need to leave early, it’s no big deal. Concerts usually go until 9 or so. Sometimes people hang out after; we often have a campfire, especially for weekend shows.

Do I need to know someone?

Definitely not. Though there are regulars, it’s not the kind of space where everyone knows each other. We really love it when new folks come by. It’s a nice crowd.

How much does it cost?

Touring is tough, and one of our core missions is to support artists as much as we can. For most shows, we suggest a $20 contribution in the jar on the merch table, and 100% of that goes to the artists. Nobody will be looking over your shoulder or asking for money at the door. Please contribute as your means allow.
